Infrastructures and Installations
During recent years, Geo-Log Geotechnical Services Ltd. has been actively involved in infrastructure and installation projects, some of which are listed below:
Waterworks / Wastewater Treatment Plants: geological and geo-engineering survey along 26 km of the Eastern Wastewater Collector including supervision of the drilling of more than 100 test holes to a depth of up to 100 meters; Eastern sewage treatment plant (Nebi Musa); Orfa in Turkey – planning the field study for a water supply plant; mapping, supervision of test hole and other drillings, carrying out field tests including pumping trials and monitoring water levels, material sampling to acquire an overall picture of the contaminants.Clients: Hagihon Ltd., TAHAL Consulting and Engineering Ltd.
Reservoirs: Geo-engineering field study and supervision of the drilling of test holes in selected wastewater and water reservoir sites, including the following reservoirs: Erez, Gevaram, Sde Boker, Nevatim, Ofakim–Mevu’ot Yerushalayim, Shderot, and others.
Clients: TAHAL Consulting and Engineering Ltd., soil and foundation consultants, and planning firms.
Geo-hydrology: Site surveys and providing a professional assessment on geo-hydrology related matters. For example, the Visitors’ Center of the Dan Region Sewage Treatment Plant at 82 Hayarkon Street Tel Aviv, Yitong Ltd. Pardess Hanna, Usha Plot 109. Examination of the hydro-geological conditions at the site, analysis and processing of findings and observations from test hole drilling, water sampling and performing different tests including pumping tests and field permeability tests.
Earthworks: Supervision of soil and rock excavations and fill for roads, reservoirs, building sites, pipelines, etc. Monitoring of soil replacement and carrying out controlled filling. For example, the Mega International plant (Industrial Zone in Modi’in), supervision of earthworks to replace the existing fill to a height of 12 meters. Naan–Jerusalem railroad track; monitoring and supervision of soil and rock excavation along sections of the route.
